I joined Globe Recruitment after 28 years’ experience as an FMCG Operations Management Professional.  I am a Mechanical Engineer, a World Class Manufacturing Instructor, and an Executive Coach.

My career spans 16 years in the can manufacturing industry, where I started as a Project Technician and ascended the corporate ladder to become a successful Engineering Manager, leading 8 Engineering workshops comprising of 90 employees. The following 12 years were spent in the gypsum plasterboard manufacturing industry progressing from Operations Manager, leading production and engineering departments, to the position of Plant Manager, overseeing the entire Cape Town Operation.

Professional Commitment is a core principal that I strive to instil in my teams. This results in team capability in the domains of results focus, preparedness, accurate verbal and written presentation, visual management, responsibility and accountability.

Effective Team leadership and People Development have been pivotal competencies in a number of my career performance achievements. These are the core competencies that I will leverage in my leadership of Performax Consulting (PTY) Ltd trading as Globe Recruitment.

I have always wanted to be a catalyst for change and growth while positively impacting others. My career started in Hospitality where I quickly learned what customer service and client satisfaction meant. This followed my experience within Long Term Insurance and then a vast majority of my career within sales and marketing. This lead me to have a solid understanding of business, business processes and strategy. All the while understanding the “human” element.

Having now joined Globe Recruitment, with 5 years’ recruitment experience, I will be specialising in Hospitality, Medical and IT talent acquisition. I set high standards for myself and want to be actively involved in making a difference by continuing to create change and have impact through teaching, coaching and helping people to be the best they can be.

It’s not about just placing someone in a job, it’s about helping their career growth and building sustainable relationships, where eventually my Candidate becomes my Client.

A single minded and passionate individual Machelle's 12 years of experience in the recruitment industry have positioned her as an expert in the industry. The winning formula in her success over the years was due to her being able to ride the waves of organizational changes resulting in emotional awareness, resilience, self-management and tenacity.

She was introduced to recruitment in 2005 and quickly found her passion which; still is to be a part of positive change in people’s lives. She prides herself in being ethical, authentic and efficient while demonstrating accountability. Machelle has specialized in Finance, Retail and FMCG recruitment but considers herself a chameleon due to her ability to adapt to any sector or industry. Her personal moto is People, Passion, Purpose!

Prior to recruitment, I was in the telecoms industry for about 10 years’, in a customer service and satisfaction role. This has enabled me to resolve difficult situations, and understand my customers’ needs and requirements.

I have approximately 3 years’ experience in my current role at Globe Recruitment and specialise in the hospitality and retail industry.
I am a team player, with a commitment to customer service, my aim is to always ensure that I leave the people I work with better than they were before.
I am passionate about providing the best recruiting experience for both clients and candidates.

I have always been in client facing positions which required excellent customer service, attention to detail and a client centric focus. I believe in creating a “win, win” environment for both the client and candidate! I have 5 years specialist recruitment experience which started out in the Medical field, mainly recruiting for a UK based agency. Whilst at Globe Recruitment I have become a specialist in the field of Hospitality, Medical recruitment and most recently started expanding into IT.

The best part of recruitment for me is being able to help someone else by fulfilling their goals by means of coaching and by assisting our candidates and clients to find the "right fit" for their career or business, always ensuring that we "LEAVE THEM BETTER"

After 7 years’ in Sales for various financial institutions, I joined Globe Recruitment as a Generalist Recruitment Consultant. I am a customer centric individual with 2 years’ experience providing the full recruitment service to the retail, manufacturing and finance sectors being responsible for handling permanent and contractual vacancies across South Africa.
